This spot for the new Hyundai Equus premiered during the 2012 Academy Awards broadcast. Using hi-speed footage shot on a Red Epic, mixed with long-exposure photography from a Canon 5D, we helped create a beautiful and surreal mixture of speed and slow motion footage as the Equus drives around downtown Houston. In order to create a time-lapse feel, we re-created entire city blocks in CG and animated the car flying past them. We focused on creating some of Houston's most iconic architecture in order to make the city instantly recognizable. Our friends at Liquid produced and finished this spot.
